Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: Terrance Drew, Prime Minister and Minister of Health of St Kitts and Nevis informed through his social media account that yesterday, on August 31, 2023, he organized an Annual Scholarship Ceremony, “Caring Hands Supporting Our Children”.

The event was organized at National Heroes Park, where 63 scholarships were presented to students in both primary and secondary schools within the 8th constituency.

PM Drew emphasizes that each year, he awards scholarships to at least twelve students from various schools, but yesterday, he launched his official scholarship programme dedicated to students within the eighth constituency.

He has always been a passionate supporter of education. This scholarship ceremony is a significant milestone in his ongoing efforts to uplift the youth of his constituency.

Over the past years, Prime Minister Drew has continuously provided scholarships to deserving students, demonstrating his dedication to helping and supporting youth to gain education. This year’s ceremony features a significant increase in the number of scholarships offered compared to previous years.

The ceremony was a heartwarming occasion, attended by numerous students, parents, teachers, community leaders, and senior government officials. They all gathered to honour the recipients of these scholarships.
