València, Spain: National rhythmic gymnastics competitors Boryana Kalain, Styliana Nikolova and Eva Brezalieva, who will represent Bulgaria in the individual race at the 40th World Championships, held a vital podium training at Feria València.

In front of the eyes of Brezalieva’s central team manager and personal trainer – Branimira Markova, personal trainers Marianna Pamukova and Valentina Ivanova, BFHG vice president and leader of the delegation Neviana Vladinova, the Bulgarian Graces presented their program with which they will fight for honours in the Championship.

In the hall were the judges for Bulgaria of this competition, Filip Filipova and Hristiyana Todorova. They were supported by Maria Petrova – Vice President and member of the International Gymnastics Federation Technical Committee.

The individual competition starts on Wednesday with hoop and ball combinations. The stream of Bulgarian women is from 16 o’clock Bulgarian time.

According to the World Cup competition format, 18 gymnasts with the highest total, obtained from grades in three of the four combinations in the qualifications, qualify for the final in the individual all-around. The eight highest-ranked gymnasts/ensembles continue to the finals of the individual devices.

14 individual quotas for Paris 2024 will be distributed in the individual race still in the all-around qualifications, with a maximum of two gymnasts per side. Styliana Nikolova, Daria Vartholomeev and Sofia Rafaeli provided one quota for Bulgaria, Germany and Italy, respectively.

The five best ensembles, except Bulgaria, Israel and Spain, will receive an Olympic license for the Games next year. The results in the qualifications determine the results of the all-match ensemble.

The team ranking is formed by individual and ensemble – women. The team result is calculated by adding the 8 results of the individual gymnastics and both of the ensemble.
