Sofia, Bulgaria: In front of the crowded Sofia Hall, the open audition of Bulgaria and Brazil’s national teams in rhythmic gymnastics was held today.

This was the last performance and a peculiar send-off of the girls for the World Cup in Valencia (Spain), which will be held from 23rd to 27th of August.

Bulgaria will be represented in the individual race by Boryana Kalain, Styliana Nikolova and Eva Brezalieva and by an ensemble of women consisting of Zenina Trashlieva, Sofia Ivanova, Camelia Petrova, Rachel Stoyanov and Radina Tomova.

Today, the spectators in the Sofia Hall had the opportunity to see Brazil’s national teams, Barbara Domingos and Giovana Santos, in the individual race, as well as an ensemble – women who will participate for Brazil at the World Championship in Spain.

Today, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr Dimitar Iliev, was present at the Sofia Hall, presented the national flag, and wished success to the Bulgarian graces at the World Championship in Rhythmic Gymnastics in the Spanish city of Valencia.

Among the official guests in the hall were BFHG President Iliana Raeva, three-time absolute world champion Maria Gigova, BFHG Secretary General Rosina Atanasova, Central Vice President Neviana Vladinova, National Team Director Despa Katelieva, BFHG US Members Elena Lazarova, Elizabeth Koleva, World Champion Simona Peycheva, Julia Baicheva and others.

Graces showed a very strong, confident and large-scale game, and all the specialists were adamant that Bulgarian gymnasts are among the strongest in the world and play complicated, spectacular and beautiful gymnastics.

In the team of Brazil’s national team during their camp in Bulgaria, assisted by Bulgarian coaches Maria Kancheva and Miroslava Bataklieva from the Levski Triadica club, who helped the Brazilian women in the final days of their stay in Bulgaria.

Everyone in the Sofia Hall today wished the Bulgarian Graces good luck and being calm and confident that they are excellently prepared and to play their compositions without error so they can take what they are going for at the Planet Championship in Valencia.
