Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: Terrance Drew, prime minister and minister of health of St Kitts and Nevis, has expressed his happiness on the safe return of the four islanders who went missing at sea on Sunday, August 13, 2023.

PM Drew expressed his sincere gratitude for the safety of four St Kitts‘ nationals who went missing in the sea. He urged the country’s populace to appreciate the people who helped them return home and gave us this happy conclusion.

Minister Drew explained that Four nationals who went missing at sea on their way home after taking part in the Anguilla Poker Run have been found. As per reports, the ship on which four nationalists from St Kitts and Nevis were travelling got struck into complications while returning to port.

The St Kitts and Nevis’ coast guard started the search operation on August 14, 2023. Fortunately, all four were rescued safely. The other residents of St Kitts and Nevis feel comfortable after listening to the coast guard’s announcement.

Several government officials of the twin island federation shared the information with joy and happiness, including PM Terrance Drew. They praised the coast guard for their quick response and hard work.

Similarly, Prime Minister Terrance emphasizes that with the quick response of St Kitts and Coast Guards, four lives were saved and brought joy and happiness to the face of their families and entire nation.

He emphasizes that he felt extreme joy after learning that the citizens have been located and are still secure. Mark Brantley, the premier of Nevis, has also used his social media accounts to express his happiness for the safety and security of the citizens.

The nation’s citizens also expressed their appreciation and happiness to the authorities participating in the rescue mission.
