Cayon, St Kitts and Nevis: Terrance Drew, Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, expressed his appreciation towards St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) for their efforts to manage the water shortages experienced by residents of the twin island Federation from the past few weeks.

Through his official Facebook account, PM Drew shared the information about the water situation and its management by the BEAD Company. He appreciated the efforts and quick approach by St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party to tackle the water crisis and resume the water supplies in the country.

He also shared the post on his social media account, appreciating the work done by the Labour Party. He wrote, ” As promised, the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party Administration continues to work towards addressing the water situation throughout the country.”

The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis also shared some glimpses of the water rectifying projects ongoing in the country to fulfil the requirements of water in the country.

He stated that the company, BEAD, is about to start the Well drilling project at a site identified in Cabbage Tree, Cayon, on Friday, 9th June 2023, close to the island’s main road and in the vicinity of the petrol station.

He also revealed that once the project becomes successful, it has been anticipated that it will bring significant relief to the Community of Cayon.

St Kitts and Nevis has reportedly been experiencing a severe water shortage for the previous few weeks. Additionally, the residents have shown deep trust in the government of the twin island federation.

The St Kitts and Nevis administration has done its best to preserve water and reduce its shortage. The SKNLP has consistently supported and developed every possible effort to address the situation.
