France: Union Minister of India Piyush Goyal stated that India will surpass the mark of the third-largest economy in the world by the year 2027 while speaking to the Indian Diaspora in France.
In his speech, Minister Piyush Goyal mentioned that India’s economy, currently valued at 3.5 trillion dollars and ranked fifth globally, is predicted to grow to 30-35 trillion dollars by 2047 when the nation observes its 100th anniversary of independence.
He continued, mentioning that exports reached $676 billion last year and emphasising the desire to harness the energy of young Indians to boost the country’s economy. India’s exports this year surpassed USD 750 billion, he continued.
India has developed into a country that the rest of the world turns to for assistance in various fields, including agriculture, the food bowl, and the world’s pharmacy. He said everyone is looking for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership to confront and resolve all the issues.
Goyal also emphasised that India profoundly appreciates its strategic cooperation with France and that the two countries have had a historical bilateral relationship.
He believed that friendship and possibilities for both countries would expand if India and France collaborated more broadly.
In addition, he referred to the Indian diaspora’s contribution to the alliance as being crucial. Piyush Goyal said in the statement that Prime Minister Modi is one of the most admired and respected political figures in the entire globe.
He is renowned for his leadership abilities, audacious deeds, and dedication to carefully leading the country forward.
Goyal also urged the Indian diaspora to play a crucial role in India’s growth process by promoting Indian culture and values during the conference with the diaspora.
Goyal said, “Yahi Samay Hai, Sahi Samay Hai,” inviting the Indian diaspora to participate in the vision and go with India on this trip. Minister Goyal is in Paris for the India-France Business Summit, commemorating 25 years of friendship between the two countries.
