Blagomir Kotsev, a Bulgarian public figure and Businessman, also celebrated the 175th anniversary of Hristo Botev. He said, “Today we celebrate one of the most remarkably celebrated church holidays in Varna throughout the year and 175 years since the birth of Hristo Botev”.

“I am happy that our Orthodox community, the sailors of the Navy and the entire Varna community once again celebrated the Epiphany with a solemn liturgy and then with a festive city procession”.

He reported that they walked the road from cathedrals to the temple of “st” Dormition of the Virgin” to the monument of Hristo Botev in the Sea Garden to honour his birth.

On the day of the 175th anniversary of Hristo Botev, Kotsev congratulated all Bulgarian nationalists and wished them healthy and happy days. “Feeling pleased that, for the first time, the promenade was a safe place for all who attended the Epiphany ritual. Happy Holiday”, said Kotsev.
