The Bulgarian footballer Krasian Kolev has signed a long-term contract with Botev Plovdiv club. The Club informed it on their social media pages after signing the deal with the 18-year-old.
Kolev is a young and experienced player; the Razgrad native relocated to Septemvri, Sofia, at the age of 14. On August 21, 2022, against Beroe Stara Zagora, Kolev scored his first league goal at the highest level. It was a big moment for him as he scored his first career goal on big stages and showed his capability.
He transferred to Botev Plovdiv on December 29, 2022, for an unknown transfer fee record sum for a player leaving Septemvri.
For the metropolitan Club, the young midfielder debuted in the 2020/21 season. Last season, Krasian was a September champion and recorded 35 games in the Bulgarian Championship and Cup. During this season, Kolev played 11 matches, in which he scored 1 goal and made two assists.
The 18-year-old midfielder is part of the Bulgarian youth team. Kolev has two games for Bulgaria U17, eight matches for Bulgaria U19 and two matches for Bulgaria U21.
Kolev signed a contract with Botev today until 2026. The Club management is happy to sign him and welcomed Krasian to the Club and wishes him much success with the yellow and black jersey.
Currently, the club Botev Plovdiv has so many young and talented players under 19 like Yordan Kostadinov (Goalkeeper), Vladimir Yankov (Defender), Borislav Daskalov (Defender), Hristian Bozhkov (Goalkeeper), Ivaylo Videv (Centre-Back), Bozhidar Siderov (Centre-Back), Radoslav Karamanov (Right-Back).
The fresh talent can push Botev Plovdiv into the upper tiers of point standings and lifting the trophies. In order to secure the victory when competing against more difficult opponents, the club management must give them appropriate coaching and should teach them playmaking in pressure-filled situations.
