Sofia, Bulgaria: The European country of Bulgaria recorded a total of an additional 336 cases of the novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours, as per the data shared in the unified information portal of June 23, 2022. A total of twenty-six (26) COVID-19 cases have been reported more as compared to the previous day’s reports.
These new cases have been detected by the healthcare staff of the testing sites in Bulgaria from the additional 3,843 tests. The data then adds that the positivity rate of the new cases computes to around 8.7%.
Along with this, five COVID patients lost their lives to the deadliest virus in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, there are a total of 188 patients who have been recovered from the viral illness during the last day and have been discharged from the hospital facilities.
Presently, according to the data, there are a total of 284 patients with the COVID virus in the hospital facilities of Bulgaria, including the newly admitted individuals. Moreover, there are a total of twenty-nine (29) patients in intensive care units -ICU in the hospital establishments in Bulgaria.
Additional 360 doses of the WHO-approved COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in the last 24 hours.

In Bulgaria, to date, there are a total of 2,060,103 individuals who have received their required number of COVID-19 vaccines and are now among the fully vaccinated population of the country. This number of individuals accounts for around 29.8% of the total targeted eligible population of Bulgaria, as of June 21, 2022.
