Sofia, Bulgaria: The Prime Minister of Bulgaria – Kiril Petkov, on Friday (May 27, 2022), met with the governing board of the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Several other government officials of Bulgaria also joined the meeting along with the Prime Minister. 

The motive of the meeting was on to have a direct dialogue with different businesses in order to work in support of the growth of the economy as well as improve the competitiveness of small- and medium-sized enterprises and companies that holds the potential to do overseas business.

A draft memorandum on e-governance was also presented by the representatives of the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce. The Cabinet members will be signing this draft in the forthcoming time.

E-Government Minister Bozhidar Bozhanov, German Ambassador to Bulgaria Christoph Eichhorn, and Kaloyan Metodiev, head of the Economy Minister’s political cabinet, were also among the dignitaries who attended the meeting.
