Her storied career includes an Olympic silver medal from the 2024 Paris Games, 4 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze medals at European Championships, and a second-place finish in the team event at the 2018 World Championships held in Sofia.

Among her other remarkable achievements are a silver medal in the all-around event at the 2021 European Championships in Varna and three bronze medals in the apparatus and team events at the 2019 European Championships in Baku.

In addition to her international success, Kaleyn dominated the national scene as a three-time Bulgarian champion. At the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, she finished fifth in the individual all-around, cementing her status as one of the sport’s elite athletes.

“A Life Shaped by Gymnastics”

In her retirement announcement, Kaleyn described rhythmic gymnastics as a transformative force in her life.

She expressed deep appreciation for her coaches, the Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation, judges, medical teams, her club “Levski-Triaditsa,” and her family. “This decision marks the end of a significant chapter in my life, but my connection to the sport will never fade,” she wrote.

Her decision comes shortly after the Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation approved the composition of the national individual team for 2025, which did not include Kaleyn. This development further solidified her transition away from competitive gymnastics.
