Sofia, Bulgaria — Warner Bros. Discovery has officially launched Max, its enhanced streaming service, in Bulgaria

Subscribers can now enjoy a diverse range of entertainment, including the highly anticipated “Dune: Part Two,” on a variety of leading devices and platforms.

Max is part of a wider rollout that includes 20 countries across Northern, Central, and Eastern Europe, such as Andorra, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.

Subscribers to Max will find an expanded library that features new and classic titles. In addition to “Dune: Part Two,” the service introduces original series like “MILF of Norway” and the Max Original documentary “Eddie and Emma.” Bulgarian audiences can also look forward to local content, including the short film “August 13.” The extensive library includes popular Warner Bros. films such as “Barbie,” “Wonka,” “The Joker,” and the “Harry Potter” series, along with acclaimed HBO originals like “The Last Of Us,” “The White Lotus,” “Euphoria,” “True Detective: Night Country,” and “The Sympathizer.”

Furthermore, Max includes an array of shows from Warner Bros. Television and Discovery’s factual entertainment, such as “90 Day Fiancé,” “King of the Cakes,” “Gold Rush,” and “Naked and Afraid.” The platform also sees the return of the much-anticipated second season of HBO’s “House of the Dragon” on June 17, among other upcoming releases like the sports biopic “Nasty,” the investigative series “Expedition From Hell: The Lost Tapes,” and Lady Gaga’s “Gaga Chromatica Ball” concert.

To enhance user experience, Max organizes its vast content into easily navigable hubs, which include HBO, Max Originals, Discovery, TLC, Investigation Discovery (ID), DC, Kids & Family, Cartoon Network, and Adult Swim. In Bulgaria, subscribers can choose from two basic plans. The “Standard” plan allows up to 30 downloads for offline viewing, while the “Premium” plan offers up to 100 downloads, 4K resolution, and Dolby Atmos sound.
