Kamen Zlatkov finished season with a victory in Bansko

Kamen Zlatkov (Moten) won the men’s slalom from the National Alpine Ski Championship program in Bansko. The National gave a total time of both sleeves of 1:28.98 minutes and doubled their success from Saturday when they claimed the title in the giant slalom. Zlatkov was the fastest in both cuffs today.

Australian Hugh McAdam finished second at 2.90 sec, and Kalin Zlatkov (Julene) finished third at 3.35 seconds. The leading alpine climber Albert Popov (Moten), did not participate in the slalom because he is in Sofia awaiting his girlfriend Denitsa to give birth.
Swiss Anina Zurbrigen finished first in women’s slalom. She won with a time of 1:40.11 minutes.

Julia Zlatkova (Julen) finished 1.37 seconds from the champion but took the title, being the fastest to finish from the Bulgarians. Italian Louise Bertani (Vitosha Ski), who has been competing for Bulgaria since 2022, completed the top three by 5.04 seconds from the winner.

The winners of Saturday and Sunday were awarded by Tseko Minev, Member of the FIS Council and President of the FIS Ski; Georgi Bobev, Vice President of BFSki; Ivan Kanevchev, Director of Alpine Ski in BFSki; Viktor Gichev, Flight Director of the competitions, as well as by coaches and guests from FIS.

Today’s slalom ended the state championship of alpine skiing for men and women in Bansko, which BFSki and Julen AD organized.

Kamen Zlatkov (Moten) and Louise Bertani (Vitosha Ski) won the titles in the giant slalom of the state championship in alpine skiing in Bansko. On the Tomba track, Hugh Macadam (Avsl) gave the men’s first time – 2:04.85 min. Kamen Zlatkov gave a second time – 2:05.18 sec but took the title as the best-performed Bulgarian alpine.

Second for the state championship is Kalin Zlatkov (Julen) with 2:05.42 min, and third, Konstantin Stoilov (Vitosha ski) with 2:06.19 min. 40 alpine men from 11 countries took part in the men. In women, Bertani won with a total time of both sleeves of 2:04.89 min.

Second, for the state is Julia Zlatkova (Julen) with 2:13.42 min, and the third is Lilyana Pitova (Bansko) with 2:22.58 min. Full results are at www.bfski.com. The state BFSki and July AD will organize tomorrow and continues with the slalom discipline.
