Vladislav Panev, member of the Bulgarian National assembly, reported that the Supreme Administrative Court finally decided to demolish a 1500 m2 workshop and one haystack illegally constructed by Rumen Gaitanski, nicknamed (Wolf).

He said, “The case for the main object has been lodged in the same court and will hang around for more. But a victory is a victory, and it is important to highlight the contributions of those involved”.

Panev claimed he released a drone three years ago that captured a territory hidden from human eyes. Then came to light the scheme by which Wolf Bio Mining’s company gained control of sites on the farm through a vicious contract.

Separately, Gaitanski’s firm receives BGN 150 million from the Bulgarian Development Bank (the largest loan in the history of the bank), then managed by Stoyan Mavrodiev, against a modest enterprise in Kardzhali. The structure has since been frozen.

In 2021 Alexander Dunchev, the head of the forest agency, went to the site to check for any development. Metropolitan Municipality issued orders for the demolition of illegal objects. Panev underlined that the wolf was appealing, and there was a final decision on the 1500 m2 workshop illegally constructed by Gaitanski.

In addition, BGN 100,000 will be fined to those responsible for the illegal felling of trees in the Boris Garden. Permission was granted for the removal of only ten dry trees in the area of the “Maria Luisa” bathhouse. However, the feeling turned out to be more large-scale, and the Metropolitan Municipality reported it.

According to the group “This is not Amsterdam”, the site is being prepared for construction. The complex in Borisova gradina has not been used since part of its ownership passed into private hands. A private company related to Rumen Gaitanski-Valka and the municipal company “Sofiyski imoti” has a stake in the company.

The territory of the bathhouse is large – about 35 thousand square meters. It is the largest metropolitan park. Last year, the “Park Maria Luisa” company, which owns the bathhouse, announced that they intend to repair the complex and start working again. A private company related to Rumen Gaitanski – Valka has a stake in the company.

A design visa was also issued in mid-2022 for the possible future renovation of the once council-owned bathhouse.
