The Club management noted that Todor Nedelev is a name that every botanist utters with pride. Even with his first appearances with the team of the oldest football club in Bulgaria, Toshko pointed out his huge potential.

Tens of goals, many more assists, and thousands of magical plays raise the “yellow-black” audience. Loyal to the end of his favourite Club, refusing several home and foreign team offers, Nedelev chose to defend Botev’s emblem.

As per Wikipedia, Nedelev began playing football at his neighbourhood team before enrolling in the Botev 2002 Academy in 2004. Nedelev and Botev Plovdiv exchanged professional contracts on June 27, 2011. In the 70th minute of Botev’s 1-0 away victory over Dobrudzha Dobrich on August 13, he made his league debut.

He got his debut start against Spartak Varna a week later. Nedelev’s first goal, on September 3 against Chernomorets Pomorie, resulted in a 1-1 tie. Nedelev completed his rookie campaign with two goals in 23 games and helped Botev secure promotion to the A PFG.

In the minds of Plovdiv citizens, Toshko Nedelev is associated with the beauty of the centre goal, the belief in the return of the College and the fight for the “yellow-black” emblem.

What happened in the summer of 2022 again showed Nedelev’s love for the “yellow-black” Club and the greatest game. Despite the severe injury and all the difficulties after it, Toshko never thought of leaving Botev Plovdiv.

Today, everyone at the “yellow-black” Club wishes Todor Nedelev good health and countless positive emotions with Botev. Botev Plovdiv hopes that number 8 will return to his home – “College”, where he will enjoy thousands of Plovdiv citizens with his magical touches and plays!
