The Municipality of Sozopol has conducted a public procurement and chosen a contractor for the maintenance tasks of municipal and local roads (road sections) and their facilities and accessories. These activities include asphalting, re-asphalting, asphalt patching, basic and local repair, as well as activities for basic and local repair. Additionally, the order also covers the street system of Sozopol, Chernomorets, Atia, Zidarovo, and Gabar settlements, among other places where maintenance is required.
Repairs in Sozopol and Chernomorets will start on Monday because they have no option instead of waiting. In Zidarovo, repairs in Atia and Gaber have already begun. The road at the village of Gabar’s entry, as well as the unsafe portion of the street leading to blocks Nos. 4, 5, and 6 in the hamlet of Atiya, will be fixed in addition to Zidarovo’s centre square.
The square in the village of Zidarovo appears to have recently been ravaged by floodwaters. Large fissures and problematic places bring the citizens of Zidarovo a lot of issues. When repaired, it resembles asphalt.
A subsidy from the state budget provides the funds, and the repairs in the villages of Atia, Zidarovo, and Gabar cost a total of BGN 150,000. In Chernomorets, Al. Street, Pushkin, G. Kondolov, the entirety of Rodopi, and all trouble spots along Slaveykov must be repaired. A deal for BGN 150,000 was reached to complete the repairs at Chernomoretz and Sozopol.
It is intended to cut and grind the asphalt pavement, tamp it, and pour bitumen in order to fix net-like fissures and single holes. According to the contracts, joints and cracks will be repaired, dense asphalt concrete will be transported and installed, and local repairs will be conducted to areas with shaky foundations. The third order, which is valued at BGN 300,000 after VAT, is for continuing maintenance of municipal roads.
