On Friday from 6 pm, an open control competition of the teams of Bulgaria and Brazil will be held in the Sofia Hall shortly before they leave for the 40th World Cup in Valencia.
A few days before the start of the 40th World Championship in Rhythmic Gymnastics, which will be held in the Spanish city of Valencia from August 23rd to 27th, at the Rakovski National Base, a control training was held for Bulgarian representatives of the champion – Boryana Kalain, Styliana Nikolova and Eva Brezalieva. The Brazilian team – Barbara Domingos, Giovana Santos and the women’s ensemble also participated.
The training was closely watched by BFHG President Iliana Raeva, three-time absolute world champion Maria Gigova, vice president Neviana Vladinova, director of the national teams Despa Katelieva, BFHG General Secretary Rosina Atanasova, judges Daniela Velcheva, Christiana Todorova and Victoria Danova, the team psychologist prof. Tatiana Yancheva, as well as from the coaching staff of the teams.
Bulgaria will be looking for a second quota for the Paris Olympics, which relies on Boryana Kalen, who will play her whole program of four combinations, Styliana Nikolova, who has already won the first individual quota, will play three varieties – hoop, ball and bats. The tape is entrusted to Eva Brezaliyeva.
The Bulgarian ensemble already has a quota for the Paris Olympics, but they hit the carpet in Spain to defend their world title from the previous championship. The entire country is an exciting, challenging and controversial race.
Furthermore, an open control competition of the national teams of Bulgaria and Brazil will be held, which will be a peculiar send-off for the World Cup in Valencia.
Bulgaria will be represented in the individual race by Boryana Kalain, Styliana Nikolova and Eva Brezalieva, a women’s ensemble consisting of Zenina Trashlieva and Rachel Stoyanov. Radina Tomova, Sofia Ivanova and Camelia Petrova.
On Friday, all spectators will be able to see Barbara Domingos and Giovana Santos in the individual competition and a women’s ensemble representing Brazil at the planet’s championship.
