Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: On May 28, 2023, St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) organized a Requiem Mass ceremony to be conducted at the Unique Touch Christian Centre, under the direction of Prime Minister Terrance Drew.

The Requiem Mass event was attended by cabinet ministers and other members of the government from St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP), according to Prime Minister Terrance Drew’s Facebook postings. He shared a preview of the ceremony on his official social media account while expressing his happiness.

PM Drew gave the event’s opening remarks, praising God for enabling them to serve for 91 years and the heroic efforts of the nation’s fallen heroes.

In his speech, the Prime Minister stated, “St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party invites you to join the fellowship with the government officials as we extend our gratitude to the almighty for completing 91 years of service and unforgettable contribution of our nation’s fallen heroes.”

Additionally, Geoffrey Hanley, the Deputy Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, spoke on his behalf and asked the populace to attend the ceremony that was hosted by the St. Kitts and Nevis Labour Party on Sunday, May 28, 2023, from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

The SKNLP Requiem Mass 2023 was held to unite the community while improving lives and creating stronger ties among the populace. The events also aimed to encourage collaborations for better chances.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Denzil Douglas also made an appearance at the Requiem Mass 2023 ceremony conducted at Sandy Point’s Unique Touch Christian Centre. He attended the occasion as a part of his celebration of finishing 30 years in the House of Representatives.

Before the event, Denzil Douglas sent cordial invitations and greetings on his behalf to the people of St Kitts and Nevis while highlighting the importance of the ceremony.

As part of the 91st-anniversary celebrations on May 21, 2023, St Kitts and Nevis has also planned an annual national conference in this regard.

According to Prime Minister Terrance Drew, the festivities were joyous and unforgettable. The people also showed their love and support for the SKNLP for their tireless efforts to improve their country.

The SKNLP has been working to improve the country in every way, according to PM Drew, who continued his remarks. The federation has made a commitment to developing the country and improving the lives of its citizens.

Better policies have been introduced for a variety of industries, including housing, employment, human rights, economic development, tourism, education, and agriculture.
