“Democratic Bulgaria” shares their beliefs about the decision to renew negotiations with Gazprom taken by the caretaker government to ensure the gas supplies.
According to Democratic Bulgaria, the caretaker government is trying to sell Bulgaria and bring the country to dependence on the Kremlin.
They said, “Democratic Bulgaria’ is strictly opposing the return of ‘Gazprom’ as a primary gas supplier to Bulgaria. We demand a clear function on the actions of the caretaker government from all political forces that describe themselves as professing Euro-Atlantic values. We request every political party to stop participating in the upcoming parliamentary elections and widely open your eyes to the coming betrayal of the caretaker cabinet”.
Democratic Bulgaria explained that The cabinet had proven itself to be the Kremlin’s primary weapon and forefront in Putin’s war with the democratic world. The caretaker government hid behind the employers and definitely planned to make Bulgaria totally dependable on Russian gas. They pointed out that the statement that prices from Gazprom are the best is entirely false.
If the contract resumes with Gazprom, it will eliminate Bulgaria’s opportunity of claiming penalties for unilaterally changing the payment terms in April.
Democratic Bulgaria explains that if Bulgaria agrees with every Russian condition and starts paying in Rubels, it will consider a request to become the 16th Soviet republic, and Bulgaria will experience national humiliation.
‘ Democratic Bulgaria’ buzzes the government to urgently develop a program to repay households, businesses, and companies who suffered damage and also recommends encouraging people to switch to another alternative fuel, possibly reducing the further dependence on natural gas.
“Democratic Bulgaria” also addresses the office of President Rumen Radev with several questions:
- Why didn’t the caretaker government ask Greece and Turkey for free liquefied gas slots?
- How did Russia’s limited supplies in the winter not throw us into a severe gas crisis?
- What do we not know about the caretaker government’s unbreakable faith in the Kremlin’s geopolitical weapon, Gazprom?
- What makes President Radev cut six out of seven tankers to provide alternative gas for Europe?
