Thea Lafond during her time at the boutique on Monday was greeted with great enthusiasm by the minister and she was widely honoured for her achievements.

The first-time gold medallist took sight of the custom wear designed by the boutique in accordance with the Creole culture.

Thea also gave her measurements for the clothes and while talking to the designers there she decided on her style for the upcoming events.

“We are so excited to facilitate the creation of her custom creole couture wear from our in-house designer. Look for Thea in our custom wear this creole season!!!” stated Minister Melissa further in her social media post.

Notably, the Olympic champion since her return has received a wide appreciation. She was welcomed with a grand celebration including a parade, and motorcade following a celebration in the evening. She has also been awarded many awards, prize money, and more to celebrate her success.
