Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: Terrance Drew, Prime Minister of the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis, attended the King’s Luncheon, an exceptional occasion held at Buckingham Palace in London for foreign heads of state visiting from all over the world.

The occasion was planned in advance of the historic Coronation of King Charles III, which took place on May 6, 2023. His delegation and Cabinet Ministers joined Prime Minister Terrance Drew during the unique hosting at Buckingham Royal Palace.

He also posted a few pictures from his visit to the palace and an update on his official social media account. While at the luncheon, PM Drew spoke with a lot of attendees who were leaders and representatives from many nations around the world.

Additionally, “Terrance Drew attended His Majesty the King’s Luncheon for overseas representatives at Buckingham Palace where he met and held an important dialogue with a number of dignitaries from other countries around the world,” the post stated.

Through a Facebook post, the prime minister also expressed his appreciation for speaking with other world leaders and sharing ideas and thoughts with them. He also oversaw his delegation while delivering his remarks on several subjects during his visit to Buckingham Palace.

The Prime Minister spoke with a number of other dignitaries present at the ceremony; it was further reported. In this regard, he stated that it had been a joy for him and his delegation to attend the luncheon that followed King Charles III’s coronation on May 6, 2023 ( Saturday).

According to reports, Prime Minister Terrance Drew is leading a delegation that includes the Governor-General, Dame Marcella A. Liburd GCMG, JP, the Deputy Governor-General (Nevis), Mrs Hyleeta Liburd M.H., the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Right Denzil Douglas, and the Premier of Nevis, the Mark Brantley, to the Coronation ceremony in the United Kingdom.

The delegation also consisted of “Permanent Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office, Ms Naeemah Hazelle; Diaspora Ambassador, Ms Christine Walwyn; and Protocol Foreign Service Officer in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ms Thouvia France.” Prime Minister Terrance Drew said, “The Coronation Ceremony took place at Westminster Abbey, London.”
