The international health agency – World Health Organisation (WHO) has reported a total of 295 attacks on the health care of Ukraine till June 15, 2022. These attacks have been recorded in the time period from February 24 to May 30, 2022.

In these health attacks, a total of seventy-six (76) deaths have been reported, along with fifty-nine (59) injuries. WHO sharing the information, has condemned these attacks stating that health care should never be a target.

The regional agency of WHO asserted, “WHO, as the war continues in Ukraine, underscores health providers’ need for critical health supplies. The WHO team is on the ground to support with critical health supplies being dispatched from the WHOs warehouse in Lviv”.

WHO, along with the European Union, is helping patients get uninterrupted ventilation even during the attacks.  

A recent statement by the United Kingdom’s Defense Ministry reveals that the Russian forces are severely undermanned, with some battalion tactical groups as small as 30 soldiers compared to the typical number of 600-800 personnel. 

The countries are coming forward to support the war-hit country in its war against the Russian forces. Slovakia will supply five helicopters and ammunition for Grad multiple rocket launchers to Ukraine. The announcement was made by the Defense Minister of Slovakia – Jaroslav Nad, adding that Mi-17 and Mi-2 helicopters supplied by Slovakia are already being in utilization by the armed forces of Ukraine. 

The official data states that so far, a total of 318 children have been killed, whereas more than 581 have sustained injuries in the attacks by the Russian forces since February 24.
