The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria has condemned the terrorist attack which took place in Sinai, killing more than eleven (11) soldiers of the Egyptian army. The Ministry has also expressed condolences to the families of the deceased.
The Ministry wrote, “Bulgaria unequivocally condemns the terrorist attack that killed 11 Egyptian soldiers in the Sinai. We stand with Egypt in the fight against extremism. There is no justification for terrorism! Deepest condolences to the families of the victims and speedy recovery for the injured”.
The number of the deceased was confirmed by the spokesperson of the Egyptian army, who further added, “The terrorist elements are being chased and besieged in one of the isolated areas in Sinai”.
Besides this, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sissi has also mourned the demise of soldiers. Apart from this, no other detailed information has been shared by the Egyptian army.
Meanwhile, the Egyptian Prime Minister Abdelfattah Elsisi asserted, “This, and I offer my sincere condolences to the great people of Egypt and their armed forces and to all the families of the martyrs, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured, and praying to God Almighty to protect Egypt and its people”.
“The loyal sons of the homeland are still responding to the call of their homeland with all courage and sacrifice, continuing in unique self-denial and unshakable faith in the doctrine of homeland preservation. I assure you that these treacherous terrorist operations will not undermine the determination and determination of the people of this country and its armed forces to complete uprooting the roots of terrorism”, he then added.
