The rate had witnessed a decline as compared to that of April 2021, when unemployment stood at 5.6%. The month of March 2022 had an unemployment rate of 4.2%, the official data further reveals.

Meanwhile, Eurostat notified that as per the data of the European Union, the unemployment rate in March month this year was 6.2%.
