Saint Lucia’s government signs agreement to construct luxurious hotel in Sabwisha, Choiseul

A Development agreement to build a 345 -room luxury Grand Hyatt Hotel in Sabwisha, Choiseul, has been signed by the government of Saint Lucia. The construction of the project will commence in 2003 and is anticipated to be completed by 2025. On Wednesday20 July 2022, an agreement was signed between Prime Minister Philip J Pierre, Minister of Tourism and Deputy Prime Minister Ernest Hilaire and hotel developers- Chief Executive Officer of TTS Resorts LTD, Lachezar Todorov.

A new housing project was disclosed by the government of the Commonwealth of Dominica called the Future Housing Programme on Saturday, July 16. During the hand-over ceremony, Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt stated that under this new initiative, the youth of Dominica would be provided cost-efficient homes, mainly 45 or younger.
