Minister Ernest Hilaire extends New Year 2024 greetings

Castries, Saint Lucia: The Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, as well as the member of parliament serving for the Castries South, Ernest Hilaire, extended the New Year 2024 greeting to the people of the Federation.

It is to be noted that Minister Hilaire addressed citizens and asked them to follow their goals and never fear failure. He further stated that he has set some ‘personal’ goals for the year 2024.

“It is the start of a new year, and great things beckon for us- individually and collectively. It is starts with our mindset, the relentless pursuit of excellence. Define it then work to achieve it, never fearing failure. I am not a resolution- making type of individual but this year, I have set a couple of ‘personal’ goals. I am excited about 2024, are you?”, the Deputy Prime Minister wrote.

Notably, he took to his official social media handle (Facebook) to exchange New Year’s wishes with the people. Many people extended their delight by wishing him back on his post.

While reacting to the post, one person named Marcellus Joseph commented, “Wishing you and your family a very Happy, Bright and Prosperous New Year 2024. God Bless.

Another Facebook user, by the name of Lily Jean wrote, “Happy New Year to you and your accomplishments.”

Initially, during Christmas, he urged people to celebrate the occasion with their friends and family.

Recently, Minister Hilaire hosted a series of Children’s Christmas Parties in different constituencies from December 9 to 16, and he also attended some events from December 17 to 23, 2023.

While attending the Children’s Christmas Party, he expressed his delight in witnessing the cheers on the children’s faces throughout the events and enjoying the activities.

As Saint Lucia is known for its party-hard ethos throughout the year, the island nation hosted multiple events during these days of celebrations.
