Castries, Saint Lucia: The Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Philip J Pierre, extended Christmas wishes to all the people of the Federation on December 25, 2023.
It is to be noted that PM Pierre also shared a Bible quote to express his delight during the eve. The quote read, “May the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit; Romans 15:12.”
Notably, the prime minister took to his official Facebook handle to share the Christmas greetings. Many people reacted to his post by commenting on his post.
One such comment by a person named Rufus Andre wrote, “A joyous holiday season to you and your family, Hon Prime Minister, may you be re-energized, renewed and refilled with the love, peace, joy and strength of the Christ child. A bless and enjoyable Christmas.”
Another person by the name of Diane Augier commented, “Merry Christmas to you and your family. May the Almighty God continue to guide and protect you. Bless you with good health and wisdom. Blessings!”
Ernest Hilaire, Christmas Wishes
The Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, as well as the member of parliament serving for Castries South, Ernest Hilaire also exchanged Christmas wishes with the people by sharing a message read as,
“Christmas is a time for cheer and goodwill as we remember the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. He gave his life so that ours is saved, so let us try to always be our brother’s keeper.”

The education minister, as well as the member of parliament serving for Dennery North, Shwan Edward, took to his official social media handle (Facebook) to express his delight on the eve of Christmas.
“Merry Christmas to all constituents of Dennery North and Saint Lucia. I express best wishes to the staff of the Ministry of Education, Sustainable Development and Innovation. Happy Holidays!” Minister Edward wrote.
Christmas in Laborie, Alva Baptiste
Alva Baptiste, Minister of External Affairs, shared his experience as he witnessed Christmas joy in his constituency of Laborie/ Augier. He expressed his delight to observe the positivity on the faces of people.
“When I moved around the Laborie/ Augier constituency, the spirit was a positive one. In the words of Harlan Miller: ‘I wish we could put up some of the Christmas spirit in jars and open a jar of it every month.’ Merry Christmas to everyone, especially my constituents of Laborie/ Augier.”
