Gabrovo, Bulgaria: Today, designing a third lane at the intersection near the village Vranilovtsi should be assigned, says the regional governor Maria Basheva at an intentional meeting at the Road Infrastructure Agency. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of API Eng also attended the meeting.

Short-term measures to improve traffic safety are currently being implemented at the intersection, with the installation of flexible restrictors.

The regional governor insisted on a faster procedure for implementing already approved road projects at four intersections in the district of Gabrovo. Two are on the road I-5 Dryanovo – Gabrovo / at 141st and 142 km /, and two are on the road II-44 Sevlievo – Gabrovo/ at 20th and 21st km /.
The projects envisage installing new road signs and laying horizontal markings. Additional signs and unique markings will also be placed on road III-5004 Bypass of the city—of Gabrovo, in the area on the 10th and 11th km.
Road Infrastructure Agency supports the proposal of Gabrovo Municipality for the reconstruction of the intersection of Blvd. Aprilov from St. Yuri Venelin, in the roundabout. It’s in the urbanized territory of the city, but it coincides with a section of Republican Road I-5.
In this regard, an agreement for joint construction of the roundabout will be signed. Currently, the API agrees to the technical project prepared by the municipality.
