The Bulgarian Employment Agency announced that 15,200 inactive or unemployed youth will be assisted for inclusion in the labour market through the activities under the project “Youth Employment +” of the Human Resource Development Program (PRCHR) 2021-2027.

The new project “Youth Employment+” is implemented by the Employment Agency as a specific beneficiary. The project is a peculiar continuation of the “New Opportunity for Youth Employment” project implemented by the Employment Agency during the previous program of the Operational Program “Human Resource Development” 2014-2020.

The organization’s primary objective is to increase the competitiveness of young people aged 16-29, including by providing apprenticeships, on-the-work training, employment, or engaging in activity to acquire “soft” skills with an employer.

This will facilitate the transition of young people from education to employment and will allow them to gain valuable professional experience necessary to fill the vacancies claimed by employers.

The Employment Agency is organizing 84 October events across the country, united under the title ‘You’re doing great’. The goal is to reach inactive people in the Labour Market – from the most significant cities to the smallest populations.

Thus, assistance will be provided to those who often need help in their professional realization due to regional specifications, work motivation, need for qualification, etc.

Within the campaign “Working (is) cool ” only in October, the Agency will host 45 Labour exchanges, 10 of which will be 35 informational events and four career forums in Northwest Bulgaria.

Experts from the Labour Bureau across the country will promote employment and professional development opportunities and various initiatives to ensure quality jobs, education and training.
