Sofia, Bulgaria: Ministry of Labor and Social Policy conducted a meeting with Azerbaijan yesterday, September 9, 2023. Desislava Stoyanova, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policy, discussed strategies to expand Cooperation between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan in the fields of labour, employment, and social policy, which was the main topic of the meeting.

Under her supervision, an international conference on the theme “DOST: Unified Platform for the Delivery of Flexible, Innovative and Sustainable Services” took place in Baku, Azerbaijan.

The Bulgarian delegation included the Manager of the National Insurance Institute, Ivaylo Ivanov, and experts from the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy and the Employment Agency.

She talks to the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the population of Azerbaijan, Anar Karimov. During the talks, topics of mutual interest were discussed, and opportunities to deepen the partnership between the two countries were noted in the future.

Deputy Minister Stoyanova sent an invitation to the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan, Sahil Babayev, to visit Bulgaria in order to sign an Agreement on the Implementation of an Intergovernmental Pension Protection Agreement.

The prospects for the rapid growth of social services worldwide and future opportunities for their development through the application of innovative approaches and advanced technologies were discussed during the conference.
