Plovdiv, Bulgaria: Botev Plovdiv FC, the Plovdiv-based Bulgarian football club, informed through its social media account that Arthur Platek has been appointed the new sports director of the Yellow Blacks.

As such, he will be responsible for both the entire sports policy of the club, as well as for the transfers to Botev’s first and second teams, as well as all formations of the children and youth school.

The 53-year-old specialist was born in the Polish city of Piskowice, with many years of experience in football behind him.

Over the last ten years, he has worked for the selection of young talent in German Borussia Dortmund. At the same time, he finds and manages players like Dembele, Isaac, Akandji, Holland, Bellingham, Pischek and many others.

Recently, Arthur Platek worked as a sports coordinator in Gurnik Zabze and as a sports director in Piast Glivice – clubs that are at the forefront of the rankings in the Polish first division. Under his management, Pyast Glivice won a silver medal in the championship, which is a significant achievement in the club’s history.

He is also known for the fact that under his leadership, teams show good conditions regarding their performance on the field. He is precise in both the selection of new players and their transfer.

In his career, he has also gained extensive experience as a coach of Jagelonia Bialestok, Varta Poznan, Krakow, Pogon Shchechin and others.
