Naydenov informed that this moment is significant for the country as the concession was signed in 2011. for a period of 35 years, and if the state terminates it, it will have to pay huge arrears. Termination of the concession will become a parliamentary decision and could take effect within one week after its vote.

He stressed that Lukoil Neftochim can continue to use all its facilities and pay rent and fees for use where it is not (which was the practice until 2011). ). There is nothing unusual that happens. There is no introduction of new approaches that did not exist before.

Accusing President Radev for backing Russia, Naydenov said, “The president continues to step on pillars that support Russia’s thesis, which defines us as an anti-friendly state. I do not know why we have to protect hers when the Bulgarian national interest is important to us”.

The agreement to be signed between PP-DB and GERB next week is not a coalition but aims for a larger constitutional majority. According to Naydenov, MRF will not be participating in it.

He added, “We need to ensure that these legislative initiatives will be implemented as initially agreed. Otherwise, there is no point for this government to exist”.
