Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: Terrance Drew, the Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, visited the Royal Christopher and Nevis Police Force’s Special Service Unit (SSU) on Friday. During the visit, PM Drew expressed honour and pride in the dedication, tenacity, and devotion the police forces have to their work. To raise their spirits, PM Drew has expressed these words.

According to the information, while visiting the Special Service Unit of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, Prime Minister Terrance Drew was also accompanied by national security specialist Edwin Powell.

Terrance Drew, the Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, gave the police officers a sneak peek into the meeting. During the meeting, PM Drew secured the backing and help of the St. Kitts and Nevis government.

PM Drew posted on his official social media account that he had visited the Special Services Unit (SSU) of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force to share a few words of encouragement and dialogue with the members about their role and the Government’s vision for National Security.

On the same occasion, he expressed appreciation for the Special Service Unit (SSU), saying, “We have a highly dedicated and competent police force who are ready and equipped to protect and serve their nation.”

He also expressed gratitude, assurance, and encouragement to the officers for their rigorous effort and unshakable devotion during the meeting. He also reaffirmed the Government’s unwavering support for law enforcement’s efforts to keep the Federation safe and orderly.

Prime Minister Drew also reminded the SSU officers that as part of their dual roles, they may need to use both force and compassion, depending on the circumstance.

He advised them to constantly be cautious since their choices directly affect the lives of civilians. Additionally, he thanked the SSU officials for their service and urged them to focus on creating a better future.
