Chepelare, Bulgaria: On May 14, at the Rhodope Spark 1880 Community Center town library, as a part of the May cultural holidays in the Municipality of Chepelare, Anastasia Mavrodieva presented her poetry collections “My Letter” and “Zornitsa”.

These are the first and third poetry collections. The second in a row poetry collection, “Alphabet of Feelings”, is out of circulation. Her new poetry collection, “Rositsa’s Daughter”, is expected to be published soon, named in honour of her mother, who unquestionably supports her and nourishes her love of books.

After a question from the audience at the performance, the talented young poetess was puzzled that she and the singer co-author are preparing a book – prose, which will be an exciting joint project, which she so far wishes to keep secret.

Anastasia is a native of Chepelare, the current songwriter of dozens of beloved pop-folk songs, of some of the biggest hits of Constantine, Emanuela, Emilia, DesiSlava, Preslava, Cali and others. In 2022 Danny Levon and Christian Loizou participated in the “Burgas and the Sea” competition with the song “I Will Love You”, the lyrics of which are also her work.

He began his rhyming word game in the third grade and later wrote the anthem of the city’s favourite clock tower school, bearing the name of its creator Vasil Dechev – city. Chandeliers. The author shared that she often returned to his yard to be alone with her muse.

The presentation of Mavrodieva’s poetry collections in Chepelare was significantly charging, cheerful and casual. Attendees looked through another corner of the World after the production of the poet and a reading of several selected powerful poems of hers by Adriana Ivanova – an outstanding librarian and cultural scholar of Chepelare.

Anastasia herself also read one of her poems at the audience’s request. For a molecular biologist /by education/ where muse has taken such a serious role, people must read, honour the genus, return to their roots, appreciate their native places and hear the poets there.

These were also part of the messages of the talented poet Anastasia Mavrodieva, who undoubtedly testifies of excellent appreciation and gratitude to her mother, to whom she has dedicated several poems to her kin as a whole. Mother and Rositsa, on their turn, read to the audience a favourite poem from Anastasia’s new and still unpublished poetry collection.

The poet expressed her heartfelt thanks to all her teachers because in words and each of them contributed to the construction and as a person. She shared many exciting moments and happenings with teachers and their appreciation which stimulated her to continue writing and give way to the creator in her.

Asked by the audience about Anastasia’s favourite poets, she answered: “From contemporary poets, I like Konstantin Trendafilov, but not Papi Hans. He inspires me and is very inventive, in my opinion. I love to read; my girlfriends subscribe to a box of makeup, I – to a box of books,”- the young poet added with a smile.

To all present at the presentation of the poetry collections “My Letter” and “Zornitsa” in the library of the Rhodope Spark 1880 Community Center – Chepelare, the author gave away her wonderful poetry collections with autographs and heartfelt individual wishes.

Remaining donations to the schools and libraries in the municipality of Chepelare with the words: “I will be glad for you to read them! “.
