PM Terrance Drew announces commencement of renovation for RL Bradshaw’s home into museum

The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, took to his social media account to share a significant update about the construction of the Museum in honour of the first Premier of St Kitts and Nevis, Robert L Bradshaw. During the Labour Day parade, hosted on Monday, May 1, 2023, the Prime Minister announced that the house of the First Premier of St Kitts and Nevis, Robert Llewelyn Bradshaw, will be renovated and a museum created in his honour.

Dr Terrance Drew, the Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, has remained steadfast in his strategy to ensure that the life of Robert L Bradshaw can get the recognition it deserves. The Labour Day Parade served as the perfect opportunity to announce that the administration has started the work on the renovation of the home of the Former Premier of St Kitts and Nevis.

Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew shared that the home of the First National Hero of the country should be a symbol of self-sacrifice and must reflect the spirit of putting the nation above self. He further added that it should also be a symbol for those who visit us and inform the tourists that we highly esteem those who have made a significant contribution to nation-building.

The Project Team engaged in the renovation and construction of the site includes Victor Williams, Project Manager and Project Lead, Arlene Edwards will be a part of the team from Williams Architectural, Peter Jenkins will join the team with Jenkins Limited, MeanehileLennox Warner of Lennox Warner & Partner and Travis Merritt of DreamWorks Design will also be a part of the team.

The project will be completed within a five month period in time for September 16 2023 which is celebrated as the National Heroes Day and Sir Robert Bradshaw’s 107th birthday.
