Yordanka Fandakova, Mayor of Sofia Municipality, recently informed that the largest road project Municipality of Sofia currently building is the third city ring that connects the Boulevards “Bulgaria” with a blvd. “G. M. Dimitrov”. These are the boulevards “Filip Kutev” and “Todor Kableshkov”.
Today the last layer of asphalt was laid on the Blvd. “Filip Kutev” in the Blvd. Blacktop next to the st “Silver”. Marking the finished northern canvas will be completed on Saturday. Construction on the south canopy on this site will begin in the summer when the final property is expected to be acquired.
Through her social media account, mayor Fandakova remarked that a big breakthrough on the Blvd. Philip Kutev from the street “Silver” to the intersection of Blvd. “Simeonovsko Shose” and Blvd. “G. M. Dimitrov will start in a month.
For the second major breakthrough – the construction of the last section of Blvd. “Todor Kableshkov” from the street. Louis Ayer to the Blvd. “Black Peak” – within weeks, the procedure for selecting an artist will be completed.
She emphasises that Municipality of Sofia runs multiple projects to facilitate the people living in the capital Sofia. Mayor Fandakova also revealed that the largest Lyulin district has another new kindergarten with room for 260 children.
Kindergarten number 122 is already working with five groups, and the remaining vacancies will be announced in the upcoming ranking.
She thanked the district Mayor of SO Lyulin District, Milko Mladen, for the consistent work. Fandakova outlined that the municipality is working hard with it to complete the renovation of the former 23 ODZ in Lyulin 3, where they will open another 260 new locations.
Lyulin district will be among the first to solve the meat shortage for children between 3 and 6 years old. , as the Municipality of Sofia continues to work for the nursery age.
She congratulated Mrs Dimitrova, Director of Kindergarten 122 and her team, who work with love and care for children. Fandakova outlined that her unit provides funds to construct gardens despite the serious economic crisis.
