In Pakistan, both the country’s borders and the inside, the threat of terrorism is steadily growing. The government of the nation has begun to blame the rest of the world for the country’s increasing number of terrorist attacks, which are occurring with increasing frequency.

Pakistan’s foreign minister made these comments at the Munich Security Conference in March. The minister said the Afghan government had backed numerous terrorist groups in the same incident. He asserted that it is not his government’s fault that acts of terrorism have occurred.

Pakistan’s foreign minister has encouraged the international community to address the menace of terrorism proactively rather than reactively. According to reports, a group from Pakistan, led by Khawaja Asif, the defence minister. Yet, the conversation ended with nothing more than courteous assurances.

In this context, a US Intelligence report indicated that the threat Pakistan is currently facing is significant and intensifying worryingly. The analysis has also received approval from Pakistani security analysts.

It is important to note that Pakistan significantly facilitates the Taliban’s access to Afghanistan’s borders. Despite their 20-year presence in the country, the US withdrew from Afghanistan 20 months ago.

Over two years ago, the nation withdrew from Afghanistan, and soon after, it assumed government control. The United States of America does not indicate that it will return to the area to help with efforts to bring peace.
