The meeting was mainly focused on developing crime-fighting strategies at the policy and tactical levels in order to maintain public safety and remove criminal elements from the island’s peaceful neighbourhoods and communities.

To make it easier to organize and deploy resources to the RSLPF, Prime Minister Pierre continues to seek effective crime reduction solutions with domestic, regional, and international stakeholders and partners.

The United States of America continuously supports Saint Lucia’s development and always acts as a significant partner in the region. To create and execute beneficial trade and security policies in the interest of the people of Saint Lucia, the Prime Minister is still open to further cooperation with the U.S. on matters of mutual interest.

Security services have recently noticed a minor uptick in criminal activity across the island. The government of Saint Lucia has taken various significant measures to eliminate all dangers so that people can live quietly and without fear and safeguard the people from being victims of any criminal activity.

The government advised Saint Lucia’s citizens to take precautions and immediately report suspicious behaviour to their local law police and security agencies.
