Galab Donev, Prime minister of Bulgaria, said that funds will be issued for the victims of recent floods that emerged in Bogdon and Karavelovo region villages. Many people lost their homes and livelihood and have nowhere to go. In order to take care of them in this harsh condition, the state government will provide funds and construction materials so that people can once again return to their everyday lives as usual.

Prime minister Donev recently arrived in the Karavelovo region hit by the floods. He reported that tidal waves are responsible for enormous damage to infrastructure and private properties.

Donev said, ” Since the floods struck Bogon and Karavelovo region villages, the state has been conducting rescue operations. It’s a miracle, and the rescue team did a job next to impossible that no one died or was seriously injured. All credit goes to the rescue teams who saved everyone, even in a dangerous situation”.

He added, ” The floods destroyed everything in a second, but it’s going to take some time and effort to recover the loss that happened in recent days. The state government harnesses all actions and means to provide funds as quick as possible.

Dimitar Stoyanov, defence minister of Bulgaria, commented, ” The Bulgarian army was estimated over 30 years. It’s time to rethink the army after what they did in Karavelovo. The army holds a significant role in the success of rescuing people in Bogdon and Karavelovo. Everything relies upon army”.

He claimed that there was no delayed reply and that they responded immediately to signals in the locations where they were received. On September 2, the 61st Stryam Brigade’s flood control module was turned on. And he went straight to Karavelovo and Bogdan.
