The ammunition-shaped object was handed over to the authorities. A team from Naval Base in Atia collected the speculated ammunition for disposal purposes. The Commander of the Bulgarian Navy, commenting on the issue, consoled the people and informed, ’’ This is a starter motor of an anti-aircraft missile.’’

He found the object harmless as it is just a tiny part of any missile that fell into the sea and reached the shore with waves. An expert consulted by OFF News clarified it is just a booster which may have detached from an S7E6 missile of the Pantsir air defence system.

A week ago, the Navy announced that the ammunition remains were found near Kamen Bryag. It is made clear by the militants that it is not a volatile object, neither it can become a threat to anyone as a kit is incapable of doing so. The remains were located 5.5 miles east of the village in Kamen Bryag by police at the border near vessel kavanna. Police officials said it is not harmful to the people, but it does create a fuss
and issues for navigation purposes.
