Sofia, Bulgaria: The Balkan state of Bulgaria recorded a total of an additional eighty (80) cases of the contagious novel coronavirus recorded in the last 24 hours. The data has been shared in the unified information portal of June 5, 2022.
These new COVID-19 cases have been reported by the healthcare facilities of a total of 1713 additional tests conducted on June 4. With this, the overall toll of the active COVID-19 infections in Bulgaria remains at 73,101.
Although on a positive note, no COVID-19 patient died on the last day, the report’s data states. Meanwhile, a total of twelve (12) COVID patients got recovered from the viral illness and were discharged from the hospital facilities.
There are a total of 332 patients with the COVID-19 mutant in the hospital facilities of Bulgaria, including the recently admitted two patients during the past day.
An additional fifty-seven (57) doses of the WHO-approved COVID-19 vaccines were administered at the vaccination centres of Bulgaria on June 4.
Novel coronavirus vaccination rate of Bulgaria –
In the Balkan state, as of June 4, 2022, a total of 2,059,883 individuals have received their required recommended number of COVID-19 vaccines approved by the World Health Organisation. This number of individuals accounts for 29.7% of the total targeted eligible population of Bulgaria and are now in the category of fully vaccinated, according to the official statistics.
After a long time, the European country hasn’t reported a single death in the last 24 hours, which is indeed a positive sign depicting the improvement of the COVID situation in Bulgaria.
