Bulgarian govt appreciated EU’s decision of green signaling recovery and resilience plan

Prime Minister of Bulgaria - Kiril Petkov appreciated and thanked the European Commission and President of the EU - Ursula von der Leyen, for giving a green signal to the recovery and resilience plan.

Sofia, Bulgaria: Prime Minister of Bulgaria – Kiril Petkov appreciated and thanked the European Commission and President of the EU – Ursula von der Leyen, for giving a green signal to the recovery and resilience plan. 

Prime Minister Petkov tweeted, “A huge thank you to @vonderleyen @EU_Commission. The #recovery and resilience plan is innovative and will contribute to the #change in #Bulgaria. is one step closer to #energy security, #justice reform, better #connectivity, investments in #innovation & #education.”

Meanwhile, Ursula von der Leyen tweeted, “Green light for the Bulgarian Reconstruction and Development Plan. presented one of the greenest plans we have approved so far. @EU_Commission will support Bulgaria to make #NextGenerationEU a real success, for a more sustainable future.” 

Another tweet cites, “Thank you, Prime Minister @KirilPetkov We need Bulgaria on board on the road towards climate neutrality in the EU. And I am glad to see what ambitious reforms the recovery plan includes. It will make Bulgaria greener and more resilient.”
