Meanwhile, the overall number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the European country has hiked to 1 139 956 since the beginning of the outbreak. The positivity rate of the new cases stands at 8.15%. Â
With this, a total of twenty-five (25) individuals lost their lives to the contagious viral illness in the past 24 hours, bringing the death rate of the country to 36 554, according to figures, as of April 2, 2022.Â
At the present time, there are a total of 1848 patients with the novel coronavirus in the hospital facilities, including 184 newly admitted COVID-19 patients. There are a total of 216 patients in intensive care units -ICU, which is three less than the data of April 1, 2022.Â
