COVID-19 vaccination certificates of Bulgaria, Iran, and Panama have now been accepted by the Philippine government via Inter-agency Task Force on Emerging Diseases (IATF) on Tuesday.

Sofia, Bulgaria: The COVID-19 vaccination certificates of Bulgaria, Iran, and Panama have now been accepted by the Philippine government via Inter-agency Task Force on Emerging Diseases (IATF) on Tuesday.  

 Office of the Presidential Spokesperson (OPS) cited that the COVID-19 vaccination certificates are for the purpose of quarantine and mobility. OPS, in its statement, asserted, “The Inter-Agency Task Force on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, has approved the acceptance and recognition of the national COVID-19 vaccination certificates of three countries – Bulgaria, Iran and Panama, for purposes of arrival quarantine protocols, as well as for interzonal/intrazonal movement“.

Additionally, the green pass or certificates mandation has been removed by the Bulgarian government from March 21, 2022. 

Below are the vaccination statics of Bulgaria, Iran and Panama: 

To date, in Bulgaria, there are a total of 2,047,680 individuals who have taken their required number of the COVID-19 vaccines and are fully vaccinated, representing around 29.6% of the total population. While a total of 712,125 individuals are fully vaccinated and have also taken their third dose, that is, booster shots of the COVID-19 vaccines, computing for around 10.3% of the total population. 

In Iran, 63,759,258 individuals are partially vaccinated (75.9%), a total of 56,562,086 citizens of Iran are fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 pandemic, representing around 67.3% of the total population. Meanwhile, 25,725,052 individuals are fully immunized and have also taken their booster shot, counting for nearly 30.6% of the total eligible population. 

Meanwhile, in Panama, there are a total of 3,401,715 individuals who have taken their at least one jab of the vaccines, representing around 78.8% of the total population. On the other hand, there are a total of 2,984,157 citizens of Panama who have taken their required number of the vaccine jabs and are fully inoculated (computing for around 69.2% of the total eligible population.  

According to the statics, there are a total of 1,403,146 individuals in Panama who are fully vaccinated and have also taken their booster shots of the WHO-approved COVID vaccines to date.
