Bulgarian woman receives $9,150 from Dubai Police after she lost her bag

A lady was returned a large sum of money after she lost her bag worth $9,150 at the Dubai International Airport.

Dubai Police has always been known for their honesty and commitment towards their work, for which once again it has been commended by the public. A lady was returned a large sum of money after she lost her bag worth $9,150 at the Dubai International Airport. 

This amount was delivered to the woman at her home, who appreciated and thanked the Dubai police officers for returning her bag. 

Meanwhile, Brig Hamouda Belsuwaida Al Ameri, acting director of the General Department of Airports Security, stated, “The tourist lost the bag which contained $9,150 (Dh33,600) and some important documents just before boarding her flight back to Bulgaria. Officers from the lost and found section, acting according to legal procedures in this regard, identified the proprietor of the bag and afterwards contacted her.”   

After this whole process, the bag was delivered to the lady at her address in the European nation of Bulgaria. As per Dubai Police, the woman lost her bag before boarding a plane from the airport. 

Following the above statement, Brig Al Ameri asserted, “We are keen to search for the owners of all the lost items found at Dubai airports in order to return it to them and leave a positive impression about their experience in the country and in Dubai in particular”. 

People across the world are also appreciating the work done by the police authorities of Dubai.
