Currently, the Portuguese star is playing for Saudi club AL-Nassr after Manchester United terminated his contract with a mutual agreement for giving a controversial interview to Pierce Morgan.

Why his Father named him Ronaldo: 

There was a unique reason why Cristiano’s father, José Dinis Aveiro, added Ronaldo in Cristino’s name. Mr Aveiro was huge of Ronald Reagan, the 40th US President who was an actor before moving to the White House. Ronald Reagan served as the President of the Screen Actors Guild from 1947 to 1952. 

During the birth of Cristiano on February 5, 1985, his father added Ronaldo in his name to honour his favourite actor Ronald Reagan who was the President of the United States of America during that time. 

Ronaldo’s disguise in Torino (Italy):

Everyone remembers once Ronaldo tricked the people of Madrid (Spain) when he went into public in disguise as a homeless man and played football on the streets. The same thing Ronaldo once did in Torino (Italy) during the time Ronaldo was playing for Juventus. Just as same he did in Madrid, Ronaldo went out in public with a wig and fake heavy beard on his face and started playing with locals.

But the plan didn’t go the same as he did in Madrid. The people of Torino recognized Ronaldo even though he was in disguise. Later, his security personnel took him in a wagon for security reasons as numerous people gathered around Ronaldo after they almost recognized him.

Ronaldo breaks young boy’s wrist: 

In 2013, during a friendly match between Real Madrid and Bournemouth, which ended up as a comfortable victory for the Spanish powerhouse (6-0) at Goldsands Stadium, Ronaldo took a free-kick, and the ball struck a young spectator sitting behind the nets.

He braced himself by covering his face with his hands, but the strike was so powerful later resulted in an injury for the 11-year-old young Bournemouth fan. The medical team available in Goldsands stadium took him to the hospital, where he underwent surgery. His name was Charlie.

When the media asked him about the incident, Charlie said, “It was Ronaldo’s first freekick that went straight towards me. I blocked the ball with the palm of my hand later resulted in a broken twist”.

Ronaldo has more UCL knockout stage goals than PSG. Since 1970, PSG has scored 56 UCL knockout stage goals, but Ronaldo has scored 68 knockout playing 19 seasons. Compared to his greatest rival, Messi, who has scored 49 goals in the competition and is expected to become the second player after Ronaldo to accomplish this milestone.

Compared to Barcelona’s lethal trio of Messi, Neymar has Suarez, they scored a total of 24 knockout goals in that time, and Ronaldo alone scored 20 goals. Ronaldo also holds an astonishing record of scoring in three UCL finals and is the only player to do so.

2nd Premier League Balon d’Or winner

After 2000, Cristiano Ronaldo is the only player after Michael Owen to win Balon d’Or while playing in Premier League. He won this award in 2008 after finishing a remarkable season with Manchester United. Since 2008, no Premier League player has won the Balon d’Or, and Ronaldo still remains the last premier league player to win the golden ball.

It is believed that Ronaldo also owns Bugatti’s most expensive car La Voiture Noire. Ronaldo or Bugatti makes no official claim about the car worth $18.9 million. It was the most expensive car in the world when first introduced in 2019 but was later surpassed by Rolls Royce Boattail.

As per reports by Sportsman, the Portuguese bought Bugatti’s La Voiture Noire on his 35th birthday and shared the picture of this car on his social media account with his own CR7 initials, as Ronaldo has on his every Bugatti.

The Portuguese star has one of the most expensive cars in his collection, including Bugatti Veyron, Chiron and Centodieci. On March 28, 2023, Ronaldo was seen with his partner Georgina Rodriguez leaving a restaurant in Madrid in his new $ 8 million Bugatti Centodieci. As per Bugatti’s official statement, only 10 Centodieci cars were made, and AL Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo owns one. 

Most complete youngster in Football history:

The Portuguese youngster became a football star after he arrived at Old Trafford. In 2008 Cristino Ronaldo bags every major trophy for Manchester United. He won FA Cup, Champions League, Club World Cup, League Cup, UEFA Super Cup, Community Shield, and Balon d, Or. Ronaldo was only 23 years old at that time, making him the most complete youngster in football history. 

Three Consecutive Premier League & UCL titles: 

Cristiano Ronaldo is the only player in football history to win Premier League and UCL trophy three consecutive times in seasons 2006-07, 2007-08, and 2009-10. After making 280 appearances and scoring 105 goals for Manchester United, Ronaldo moved to Madrid and signed a new contract with Real Madrid to keep Ronaldo at Santiago Bernabeu until 2014.

After winning the UCL in 2014, Ronaldo extended his contract with Real Madrid and won three consecutive UCL trophies in 2016, 2017 and 2018. In 2016 Ronaldo became the only player to win three UCL titles; in 2018, he was the only player to lift the UCL trophies five times.

His teammates like Karim Benzema, Luka Modrich, Toni Kroos and Marcelo equalized his five UCL winning record after winning UCL final in 2022 in Paris, adding the 14th UCL trophy to Real Madrid’s trophy collection.

Ronaldo hates alcohol and cigarettes

Ronaldo doesn’t consume any alcoholic or narcotic substance and hates it. He doesn’t promote any of these substances. He encourages the young generation to avoid drinking alcoholic substances and take good care of their health by eating healthy foods, training, exercising regularly and following their passion.
