The temperature in Bulgaria is rising, and the scorching heat is unbearable. The authorities have issued the code orange warning in 22 districts as July 23 is forecasted to see a temperature rise. Saturday is expected to witness an even worse temperature.

While 14 districts, including the capital city Sofia, are under code yellow. The authorities warn it of potentially dangerous weather. The cities of Plovdiv, Sandanski, Kurdzhali, Rousse, Plevin, Veliko Turnovo and Vidin are forecasted to have a maximum of 39 degrees of temperature. At Black Sea Coast, Varna and Bourgas are expected to bare a maximum of 31 degrees.

The online weather forecast shows a temperature of 38, 33 and 36 degrees during the upcoming days of Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, respectively. The places with the highest risks are bifurcated into two zones, orange and yellow.

Heat waves would have an impact on pregnant women, children as well as older adults. The heat waves are guessed to be so impactful that a healthy person will also be under a threat of health risks. The heat waves could harm the skin as well. Dehydration, collapsing, and other health risks are possible.
