Mladen Krstajic is appointed as the new coach by Bulgarian Football Union on Thursday. Mladen is designated as the team’s coach, succeeding YasenPetrov, who quit his position after a tragic loss against Georgia in the Nations League. Krstajic, who has signed a two-year contract with the team, previously coached Serbia between 2017- 19.
He has taken responsibility for the team while Bulgaria was struggling on three points after four National league games and has left them seven behind group 4 and league C leaders Georgia.
BFU revealed that the team had appointed Krstajic as their new coach. Bulgaria is all set to face Gibraltar on September 23 and then North Macedonia on September 26.
The team has equal chances of losing or securing its place. Krstajic said that he doesn’t have any magic and wants to change the fortune in a snap, but there are still two more games left that might change the anticipated result. We will make everything possible to make the team impregnable.
