Designed to capture the holiday spirit, the tram offers a unique opportunity for families to experience the charm of the season together. One adult can accompany one or more children, making it an accessible and family-friendly event.

Adding to the enchantment of the ride, Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden will be aboard the tram, handing out gifts to children. Their presence enhances the festive atmosphere, ensuring a memorable experience for young passengers.

Special Opening Day Celebration

The launch of the retro Christmas tram was marked by a special program on December 17, starting at 2:30 PM.

Performances by students from 38 Primary School “Vasil Aprilov” and the “Vitoshancheta” Dance Ensemble at the “St. Sofia 1997” Community Center set the tone for the festivities.

The lively dances and musical performances drew an enthusiastic crowd, highlighting the community’s holiday spirit.

This initiative is part of Sofia Municipality’s broader holiday celebrations. Festively decorated trams have been in operation since early December and will continue to spread joy across the city until January 10, 2025.
