
According to the united portal information, some new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in different provinces of Bulgaria. Around 1414 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours. Once again, the majority of people who got infected are unvaccinated. Healthcare professionals conducted 5,814 tests yesterday, of which 16.6% resulted in positive results. 11 patients were confirmed dead due to the infection; most were old. 11,475 cases were still active.
There are now 643 patients with a COVID-19 diagnosis in hospitals, 47 of whom are in intensive care units. There are 167 new admissions to hospitals. 767 people have been discharged from the hospitals after getting cured of the virus. A total of 1,217,008 defeated the virus since the Pandemic struck Bulgaria. Health experts from various regions of the globe stated that COVID-19 is now not lethal as it was in 2020, but it is still necessary to take suggested precautions.
The immunisation process has begun. The government and primary healthcare facilities advise everyone to take their immunisation dosage to protect their own and their belongings. In the last 24 hours, 1046 doses of covid vaccines have been distributed, and a sum of 4,558,677 vaccine doses have been administrated since the beginning of the vaccination campaign.
The majority of Bulgarians have received two doses of the vaccine. It is advised that those without even one dose of the vaccine finish their course as soon as possible. The distribution of booster dosages has made tremendous strides.
Out of the 1,266,241 persons who have been proven to have been infected since the start of the epidemic, 37,758 people in Bulgaria have succumbed to the novel coronavirus.
